Window Treatment Technician 

Join a growing, woman-owned window covering business serving Montgomery, Frederick, and Howard County. We’re looking for a hands-on, personable technician who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with clients, and learning a valuable new trade. And yes, being a dog lover is a must, as many of our clients have furry “assistants” at home.

No experience with window treatments? No problem. We provide full, hands-on training to set you up for success from day one.

Location: Clarksburg, MD | Full-Time, 100% On-Site

What You’ll Get

• Compensation: $22-$25/hr DOE + 5% commission on sales
• 32+ hours a week: M-F 8:30-4:30; schedule flexible upon training completion

What You’ll Do

• Start each day by loading materials and tools from the office/warehouse, traveling to scheduled appointments, and returning at the end of the day to unload and organize
• Repair a variety of window coverings in clients’ homes
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide effective, long-term solutions
• Independently complete smaller installation with accuracy and efficiency
• Support lead installers on larger or more complex projects as needed
• Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience at every appointment
• Assist with light administrative or sales-related tasks as needed, including supporting follow-ups or project coordination

What You Need

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in customers’ homes
• Reliable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift 50+lbs and stay active throughout the day
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle for commuting
