Location: Chicagoland (Remote, Full-Time)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8–5 or 9–6 CST; occasional evening networking
Behind the Design is growing. We’re hiring a full-time, single-brand B2B Sales Consultant to own the sales cycle end-to-end—prospecting, discovery, closing, and ongoing relationship management—within the luxury window treatment and interior design space.
What You’ll Get
Year 1 projected earnings: $92,000–$137,000
Uncapped commission (Base + Commission or Commission-Only—your choice)

What You’ll Do
Prospect interior designers, firm owners, and trade decision-makers
Run high-value discovery calls; position consulting & recruiting solutions
Represent the brand at networking events, trade shows, and national conferences
Partner with marketing on talks, workshops, and content-driven demand
Manage your pipeline in the CRM from lead gen through contract & invoicing
Maintain consistent follow-up with past clients and new leads (calls, email, social)
Hit and exceed monthly closed-won targets
Who You Are
3+ years B2B sales with a proven track record of hitting goals
Hunter–farmer who converts: prospecting, nurturing, and closing come naturally
Confident leading high-ticket consultative conversations
Excellent communicator; comfortable networking and public speaking
Organized, resilient, goal-driven, and collaborative; adept with remote tools/CRM
Bonus Points
Experience selling consulting or recruiting services
Background in interior design or adjacent trades (window treatments, flooring, etc.)
